Calibration Jar Set-up The Calibration Jar allows the proper placement of a Cyclone or IOM sampler between the sampling pump and the calibration device. Since cyclones and IOM’s only have one tubing connection, the only method of placing them in between the pump and calibrator is with the use of a chamber. This jar acts as a chamber. How to use calibration Jar with a Cyclone
To use, connect insert a cassette into the cyclone.
Then place the cyclone into the calibration jar.
Connect tubing from the pump to the jar lid and continue on to the cyclone.
Connect another piece of tubing from the jar to a primary calibrator
