#3 using the “…. detailed diagnostics” system templates:
The “…. detailed diagnostics” OPM system templates provide fine grained collection of monitoring data for detailed problem analysis and reporting over a longer period of time for comprehensive trend detection and analysis. These templates collect more information than the corresponding best practices template, but also increases the overhead on the data server slightly. These templates require more disk space for the repository database because more data is collected. It is recommended to generally use a best practices template, and then change to the detailed diagnostics template only if more information to do specific monitoring tasks is needed and only if the overhead is acceptable.
