TRK-15-XX Stud Kits

When Assembling Valve:
 Assemble valve sections carefully so that the section seals do not become dislodged.

 If the stud nuts are not tightened to the proper torque, valve spools may bind or stick,

or cause O-Ring seals to extrude. If this happens, spool bind will occur.

 Do NOT use Lock Washers with TRK-15-XX Stud Kits.

 Buna-N seals are standard for all Gresen valve assemblies. Contact the Gresen factory in Minneapolis for optional seals.

Section Seal Replacement Precautions

  • Do not lubricate the O-Ring section seals prior to installation. Compression of lubricants can distort the valve body causing spool bind.

  • If the stud nuts are not torqued to the proper specifications, valve spools may bind or stick, or cause O-Ring seals to extrude.

  • Replace the stud nuts and torque evenly to 18 Ft Lbs [24,3 Nm]. This is a dry stud torque spec. Reduce torque spec by 2 Ft Lbs [2,7 Nm] for oily studs.
