Genesis Launchtool is a Windows95 is a laucher and header tool for Genesis emulators (GenEm, Genecyst and Kgen).

It looks much better in 800x600 resolution.

Before asking me, you'll need Visual Basic runtime files to use this app. Maybe your system already have it, but if don't, you can find it somewhere in shareware.com or get it at my homepage.
- What it does:

Show you all information stored in the headers of rom images in BIN, SMD and MD formats.
Let you edit some of this information
Conversion of the roms from any format to another
Auto-detect the country lock (chooses the first, but let you select another if you want)
Lists all saved games and let you delete them
Join, split and repair roms
Save options for general use or for a specific cartridge, and it’s rather easy to choose what emulator to use (just choose its options tab).
Have a "favorite rom dir" menu, so you don't need to go thru all the dirs to change the current rom dir (if you have more than one).
It also does some basic file operations (copy, delete, rename, etc)
REAL long filename support. I mean, if you rename a ROM to a long filename, the emulator will find it anyway.
Have a nice interface (well, i like it!)
Have some silly sounds...

- Known Bugs/To do

I still haven't finished the Genecyst support
Splitted ROM manipulation is ugly in this version (only 4Mbit size)
I think the ROM splitting isn't perfect (but joining should be)
Give the option to hide the ROM extension (BIN, SMD and MD)
Find out how MGD files are (anyone know?)
Add support for a compressor (probably not zip)
A better manual
My english is not so good (corrections are welcome)
