Leakage current  : max. 0.1 mA (prior 1 mA)

Version A was equipped with bipolar transistors which have a shorter switch off delay (5 μs), but a larger voltage drop (1 V at 0.5 A).

Problem : In certain installations, faults have been identified in the type of a “RESET” on the PCD4 as a result of switching motors or high power Relays, or also electrostatical discharges.

Solution : This interference can be removed by addition of a 10 nF capacitor and various connections to the circuit.

Problem . Short breaks in voltage lasting less than 1 second can hang the A/D converter, i.e. further A/D conversion is no longer possible.

Solution : A connection must be soldered between IC2 pin 39 and IC4 pin 10. The track connecting IC4 pin 10 with pin 14 must also be cut.
